We had a most enjoyable stay in Eleanor's flat. It is spotlessly clean, fully equipped and in a quiet but ideal location for visiting Edinburgh. Eleanor is a very welcoming host and could not have been more helpful. We would certainly stay there again and would not hesitate to recommend it. Elizabeth

Lovely stay! I booked this one for my parents, who have some mobility issues, so ground floor was a must. They couldn't have been happier. Eleanor clearly knows what she is doing and supplied all the info and help we could need, complete with a charming sense of humor. There was even a friendly neighborhood greeting us in the street every morning. I personally loved walking to Nicholson street and hitting the charity shops when my parents could tour no more. An incredible value for Edinburgh! Genevieve

Our host, Eleanor, welcomed us warmly to the flat. She gave us great recommendations for the short time we were going to be in Edinburgh. The kitchen is so well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The location of the flat is quiet and very close to Holyrood which provided much entertainment for our two children. There is a grocery store nearby as well as good restaurant options in Blonde and The Southern. We also appreciated her communication and texting as it was very helpful. Well worth the stay, thank you! Susannah

Eleanor was very friendly and welcoming. She received us with cookies and tea and explained us our way around in Edinburgh. The apartment is very comfortable and has everything you will need. Buses to get in to the city centre stop near the apartment and you can walk to the centre in only 15 minutes. Totally recommend it! Our taxi was delayed on our way back to the airport and Eleanor allowed us to stay in the apartment until the taxi arrived. Thank you Eleanor for being friendly and understanding. We had a great stay. Adriana

The appartment was very well located, in the heart of Edinburgh's old village, perfect to visit the city. Exactly as described. Eleanor was very nice, welcomed us late without any problem and had prepared tea and some biscuits. Warmly recommended. Marion

Eleanor was an excellent host. Welcomed me warmly and was very quick to come after I locked myself out. I would highly recommend the flat, which is in an excellent location. Matt

Thanks for the lovely welcome Eleanor - despite our rather late arrival you were there to show us round the flat. Perfectly situated with views of the castle from the front door and everything we needed was there. Ann

We had a great 3 days in Edinburgh. Eleanor's apartment was in a great position for everything we needed - food, drinks, sightseeing. Outside the front door you look up to the Castle where we saw the fireworks for Diwali... Apartment was very clean and comfortable. We liked it ... Lesley

Wonderful homely place to stay. You feel that you do not want to leave. Also strong WiFi (for 3 devices), Virgin TV (not only freeview), lot of board games, books, lot of cutlery, dishes, oven trays, cups.Everything is spotless clean and useful. Elanor thought of everything you could need-tea towels, even aluminium foil, cleaning film, empty bags. Great location, just around the corner is The Grassmarket. You can reach The Castle by stairs just outside the flat. Perfect place to stay in Edinburgh!!!! Zlatinka

What a lovely flat and Stockbridge is also lovely with its independent shops and bars. Eleanor met us and told us all the best places to eat in the area and even her accurate description of getting into town .... uphill all the way on the way in then much easier on the return journey downhill .... was given to us in such a friendly manner! She even made our dog most welcome in the flat. We would highly recommend the flat and the area and will not hesitate to stay agiain when we are next in Edinburgh. Heather

It was the third time that I visited Edinburgh and it was really the best stay of all because I lived in Eleanor's flat which is cosy, warm, spacious and very clean, so that I felt like being at home at once. Eleanor is a great host and very helpful in every respect. I enjoyed my time in Edinburgh. After every trip I could return to Eleanor`s lovely flat. Thank you, Eleanor! Ulrike

I totally enjoyed my time in Eleanor's apartment and the beautiful city of Edinburgh - did not want to leave at all. I was there for over a week and was very comfortable. Eleanor was there to meet me and gave me some good tips about local eateries. The apartment was clean and spacious, with a beautiful outlook of trees starting to turn for the autumn. Good wifi, which was important for me as I was working while I was there. Stockbridge is a great location, with a lovely market within a minutes walk on Sundays, and several supermarkets within easy walking distance. Good access to public transport to get into the centre, but I preferred to walk. Loved it. Mandy

I can't recommend the flat and Eleanor highly enough. The flat is well-located, near shops and restaurants and just a short walk from the city centre. If you're a thrift store fan then you'll be a 3 minute walk from a whole street of them! Inside it's spacious, very clean and had fresh flowers when we arrived. It's also located right next to the water of Leith which makes a great walk, even in the rain. Eleanor's responses even before we arrived were prompt and friendly. She offered us tea and biscuits on arrival. We happened to leave something behind and she's very kindly going to to post it. I'd happily stay here again. Henna
